You can use the virtual machine web console to access CMS. For example, if CMS is deployed through Red Hat KVM, you can use the Red Hat web console to access the CMS server.
Important:
You cannot log in to the console with the /usr/bin/cms shell. Use a login account with a shell such as /bin/bash or /bin/ksh.

Ensure that the CMS virtual machine is deployed. For more information, see Deploying Avaya Call Management System.
Procedure
Open the web console for your virtual environment and ensure that your virtual machine is running.
Navigate to the Console area for the virtual machine.
