Last Updated : Aug 15, 2024 |

About this task

Users can only access the vectors you assign to them. After specifying which vectors the user can access, you must assign access permissions. You can only assign vectors for the current ACD.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > User Permissions > Vector Access.
  2. From the Current ACD list, select the active ACD for which you want to manage vector access.

CMS Supervisor displays the existing vector data and exception access permissions for the selected ACD.

  3. Click Add Vector Access to assign vectors to a user and grant access permissions.
  4. In the User ID list, search for and select the user.
  5. In the Vectors field, enter vector names or IDs.

You can enter a range or specify multiple values separated with a semicolon.

  6. Click + to move the vectors you want to assign from the Search Results area to the Selected Vector(s) area.
  7. Select one or more of the following check boxes to assign permissions for the specified vectors:
    • Read: The user can view vector report data and other vector information.

    • Write: The user can administer or manage the specified vectors. To assign Write access, you must select both Read and Write.

    • Exceptions: The user is notified when active vector exceptions occur. For general information about vector exceptions, see Vector exceptions.

  8. Click OK to save your changes.
