Consider the following when working with split/skill permissions:
Ensure that the users you want to manage have been added on the User Data page.
Users do not have split/skill access by default. You must define which splits/skills a user can access.
Before you can assign split/skill permissions, the user must first have permissions for the ACD on which the split/skill resides. If you assign split/skill permissions for a user ID that does not have the appropriate ACD permissions, an error is displayed.
A user ID cannot be assigned the Write permission without also having the Read permission.
When the permissions definition for a user is added or modified, the permission changes do not take effect until the user logs out and logs in again.
The wildcard characters *
and ?
are not supported.
Tenant users can only have permissions to split/skills in their assigned tenants. A tenant user cannot be assigned a higher permission level than the tenant. For example, if the tenant does not have Write access to splits/skills, you cannot assign Write access to the users in that tenant.
