Use the CMS ASCII interface to force a password change or administer password aging. You can access the ASCII interface through a Terminal Emulator connection or your virtual machine web console.

Use a password with no less than six characters. The password must have at least one number or special character and a minimum of two alphabetic characters.

When changing a password, the new password must have at least three characters that are different from the previous password.
