Considerations for viewing switch setup data

Consider the following before working with the Switch Setup page:

  • You can only view information on the Switch Setup page. You cannot modify ACD settings.

  • Information about all real ACDs is displayed. Pseudo-ACDs are not displayed.

  • TheACD name is only displayed if you assigned a name in the Dictionary. For more information, see Administering ACD names in the Dictionary.

  • If configured, the phantom abandon call timer value is displayed. The phantom abandon call timer is used to determine which calls to count as abandoned calls rather than ACD calls. The timer value can be set between 1 and 10 seconds. Calls that are shorter than this duration are considered abandoned calls. This feature is useful in areas where the central office or mobile network does not provide disconnect supervision on trunks.
