Adding call pickup groups

Add a call pickup group and add up to 50 endpoints to it. You can assign an endpoint to only one call pickup group. The maximum number of call pickup groups is 2000.
  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationSystemCall Pickup Groups.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Call Pickup Groups page, click the Add icon.
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server displays the call pickup group configuration fields.
  3. On the Add Call Pickup Group page, in the Group Number field, type the call pickup group identifier.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The value range is 1 to 9,999.
  4. In the Group Name field, type the call pickup group name.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can type a maximum of 35 Unicode characters.
  5. In the Description field, type the call pickup group description.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can type a maximum of 50 Unicode characters.
  6. Click Permission Sets (COR).
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server displays the CORs pane on the right.
  7. On the CORs pane, select the permission set to assign to the call pickup group.
  8. In the Group Members section, click ADD.
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server displays the Extensions pane on the right.
  9. On the Extensions pane, select the endpoint extensions to add to the call pickup group.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can add up to 50 endpoints to the group.
  10. Click SAVE.
  11. At the top-right corner of the page, click Commit.
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server saves the call pickup group configuration and redirects you to the Call Pickup Groups page.
