Configuring failback policy

Prolog information
Configure failback policy to determine how agent phones fail back to normal operation after restoring the connectivity with the contact center.

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationParametersGlobal Configurations.
  2. On the Global Configurations page, click Failback Policy.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Configuration Server displays the Add New Global Config pane on the right.
  3. In Value, select one of the following:
    • Auto: Agent phones automatically fail back to normal operation after restoring the connectivity to the contact center.
    • Manual: Agents must manually switch from failback mode to normal operation after restoring the connectivity to the contact center. You can use this option only when the network is stable.
  4. At the top-right corner of the page, click Save.
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server displays the saved configuration on the Global Configurations page.
