Adding a DISCONNECT vector step

Last Updated : Sep 18, 2026 |
Prolog information
Add a disconnect vector step to end the call treatment and remove the call from vector processing. You can use this step in case of a failure, if all agents are logged out, in Aux work or After Call Work mode, or the number of calls in the queue has reached a threshold value.
The contact center usually disconnects the call after playing an announcement to the caller that asks them to call at a later time. You must specify an announcement extension, a vector or VDN variable to play the announcement to the caller before disconnecting a call.
  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationContact CenterVectors.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Vectors screen, click the Add icon.
    STEP RESULT:
The Configuration Server displays the vector configuration fields.
  3. On the top half of the screen, configure the required fields.
  4. On the bottom half of the screen, in the drop-down box on the left of the row, select disconnect.
  5. In after announcement, select the required announcement.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You can select the specified announcement or an announcement defined in a VDN or vector variable. You can configure VDN and vector variables on the Vector Directory Numbers and Vector Variables screens of the Contact Center tab.
If you select none, the contact center does not play an announcement to the caller.
  6. Configure the required vector steps.
  7. At the top-right corner of the screen, click Commit.
    STEP RESULT:
The Configuration Server saves the vector configuration and redirects you to the Vectors screen.
