You can import a group of VDNs to the contact center using a configuration spreadsheet. With the configuration spreadsheet, you can add new VDNs to the contact center or import the VDN configuration from your previous contact center.
You can also edit the configuration of a group of VDNs by filling in the configuration spreadsheet with existing VDN extension numbers. When you upload the spreadsheet, the Configuration Server updates the configuration of VDNs with matching VDN extension numbers.
Before you begin
Download a VDN configuration template from the Vector Directory Numbers screen and fill it in with your configuration details.
  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationContact CenterVector Directory Numbers (VDNs).
  2. At the top-right corner of the Vector Directory Numbers screen, click the More icon and select Import VDN.
  3. In the new window, browse to the folder to select the filled-in configuration template.
    STEP RESULT:
    The configuration template is in the .xlsx format.
  4. In the confirmation window, click Yes.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Configuration Server imports the VDN configuration data to the contact center.
