Editing VDN configuration

Edit one VDN or a group of VDNs. When you edit VDN configuration, you cannot modify the VDN extension. If you want to use a different VDN extension, you must duplicate the required VDN configuration or add a new VDN.
When you edit a group of VDNs, the Name and Music Source fields are unavailable for editing. To modify these fields, you must edit each VDN configuration separately.
  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationContact CenterVector Directory Numbers (VDNs).
  2. On the Vector Directory Numbers screen, select the required VDN or a group of VDNs.
  3. At the top-right corner of the screen, click the Edit icon.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Configuration Server displays the VDN configuration fields.
  4. On the top half of the screen and on the Basic Information subtab, modify the required settings.
  5. Click the Variables Information subtab and modify the required settings.
  6. At the top-right corner of the screen, click Commit.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Configuration Server saves the VDN configuration and redirects you to the Vector Directory Numbers screen.
