Configuring Call Pickup

Prolog information
With the Call Pickup feature, users can answer a call ringing on another group member's phone.
When an endpoint of one of the group members starts ringing, other group members get a notification on the display along with an audio notification. You can set two separate timers to delay the notifications.
  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationParametersGlobal Configurations.
  2. On the Global Configurations page, click Call Pickup.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Configuration Server displays the Add New Global Config pane.
  3. To enable call pickup alerting, select the Call Pickup Alerting? check box.
  4. To enable enhanced call pickup alerting, select the Enhanced Call Pickup Alerting? check box.
  5. In the Enhanced Call Pickup Delay Timer (sec) Display field, type the delay time for a display notification.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The value ranges from 1 to 15 seconds.
  6. In the Audible Notification field, type the delay time for an audio notification.

    The value ranges from 1 to 15 seconds.
  7. To enable directed call pickup, select the Directed Call Pickup? check box.
  8. Click SAVE.
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server saves the Call Pickup configuration.
