Keywords:
Add vector variables to reduce the number of steps in a vector and create more specific vectors. You can add multiple vector variables of different types simultaneously. After you add multiple vector variables, Configuration Server displays each configured variable separately on the Vector Variables page.
  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationContact CenterVector Variables.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Vector Variables page, click the Add icon.
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server displays the variable configuration fields.
  3. In the Name field, type the variable name.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can type a maximum of 20 letters of the basic Latin script.
  4. In the Type drop-down list, select the variable type.
  5. Configure the required fields.
  6. In the Description field, type a short description for the variable.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can type a maximum of 50 Unicode characters.
  7. To add one more variable, click Add New.
  8. Repeat steps 3 to 7 until you add and configure all the required variables.
  9. At the top-right corner of the screen, click Commit.
    STEP RESULT:
    Configuration Server saves the variable configuration and redirects you to the Vector Variables page.
