Determine whether an agent must dial the configured prefix for making calls outside of the contact center. You can configure a dialed string prefix on the Dial Plan Analysis page of the System tab. For example, you can use 9 as a prefix for making external calls.
On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationParametersGlobal Configurations.
On the Global Configurations page, click External Prefix Dialing.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Configuration Server displays the Add New Global Config pane on the right.
In Value, select one of the following:
Optional: Agents can make external calls without dialing the configured prefix.
Required: Agents must dial the prefix for making external calls.
At the top-right corner of the page, click Save.
STEP RESULT:
The Configuration Server displays the saved configuration on the Global Configurations page.
