Adding vectors

Add a vector and configure the vector steps manually. You can later assign the created vector to a Vector Directory Number (VDN) on the Vector Directory Numbers screen.
  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to AdministrationContact CenterVectors.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Vectors screen, click the Add icon.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Configuration Server displays the vector configuration fields.
  3. In Number, type a unique number for the vector.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The value range is 1 through 32,000.
  4. In Name, type the vector name.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can type a maximum of 40 Unicode characters.
  5. In Permission Sets (COR), select the required permission for the vector.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can configure permission sets on the Permission Sets (COR) screen of the System tab.
  6. Add the required vector steps.
  7. At the top-right corner of the screen, click Commit.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Configuration Server saves the vector configuration and redirects you to the Vectors screen.
