SCN Voicemail Support

Within an SCN, a single Voicemail Pro is used to store all voicemail messages and provide access to mailboxes. This Voicemail Pro server is licensed and hosted by a chosen central IP Office system.

The use of additional Voicemail Pro servers is supported to provide call recording and auto attendant functions to their local system. However, the central Voicemail Pro server is still used as the message store for all messages. Refer to the Administering IP Office Voicemail Pro manual.

    Recording of incoming call routes is only supported for destinations on the same system, not for remote Small Community Network destinations.

    Requires that the numbers used are routable by the system hosting the voicemail server.

  • UMS Web Services

    Users for UMS Web Services (IMAP and or web voicemail) are licensed through the UMS Web Services license on their host system. This applies even if the user remote hot desks to another system in the Small Community Network.
