The Control Unit menu displays details of the IP Office system.
For Linux-based IP Office systems, the group view lists menu shows details for the physical server platform and the IP Office services hosted on the server.
For the IP500 V2 control units, the menu shows details of the control unit software version and the cards installed into the control unit.
These settings are not mergeable. Changes to these settings require a reboot of the system.

Serial Number |
For internal components, this is the MAC address of the IP Office server or control unit. |
Unit IP Address |
For the IP Office control unit, this field shows the IP address for LAN1. |
Interconnect Number |
For IP500 V2 external expansion modules, this is the control unit expansion port used for connection. For other devices, this is 0. |
Module Number |
For IP500 V2 external expansion modules, this is the control unit expansion port used for connection. Control Unit is displayed for internal devices and services. |
Operating Mode |
This field is shown for DS16B or DS30B digital expansion modules. Select the operating mode based on the type of telephones deployed.

The New and Delete actions on this form have special functions.

You can use this action to remove details of an external expansion module from the configuration.
Deleting an extension or line module also deletes any extensions or lines associated with the module. If the external expansion module is still physically attached, following a reboot the IP Office automatically creates new default extension or line entries. |
