Primary Transfer Address |

RIP Mode |
Default = None This setting is available on IP500 V2 systems. Routing Information Protocol (RIP) lets network routers exchange information about device locations and routes. Routes learnt using RIP are known as 'dynamic routes'. The IP Office system also supports 'static routes' though its IP Route settings.
The options are:

Number of DHCP IP Addresses |

Advanced |
Default = Disabled. When functioning as a DHCP server, you can configure the IP Office with multiple address pools from which it can issue IPv4 addresses.
|
You can use DHCP pools to configure multiple sets of IPv4 addresses that the IP Office can allocate when configured as a DHCP server.
IP Office Web Manager displays these settings when you have enabled Advanced above.
On an IP500 V2 system, you can configure up to 8 pools.
On Linux-based IP Office systems, you can configure up to 64 pools.
The IP Office uses the IP Address, IP Mask and Number of DHCP IP Addresses settings set on the LAN Settings tab for the first pool.
When these actions are performed:
For E129 and B179 SIP phone models, the IP Office triggers a reboot of the phones to renew their IP address lease and apply the new address settings.
For the remaining DHCP clients, you must manually reboot the devices to force an IP addresses lease renewal. Otherwise, the devices continue to use the allocated IP addresses until the IP addresses lease time out expires. IP address lease time out is set to three days.
