Specifying a SigMa script in a server configuration

About this task

Use the following sample procedure to specify a SigMa script in a server configuration.

Note:

Ensure that no server configurations have been created yet. If you are specifying a SigMa script in an existing server configuration, proceed to Step 9 of this procedure.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
  2. From the Device menu, click the SBC name to administer.
  3. In the navigation pane, click Services > SIP Servers.
  4. In the Server Configuration screen, click Add.
  5. In the first Add Server Configuration Profile screen, type a name in the Profile Name field, and click Next.
  6. In the second Edit SIP Server Profile screen, type the appropriate information, and then select Next.
  7. In the third Edit SIP Server Profile — Authentication screen, type the appropriate information, and then select Next.
  8. In the fourth Edit SIP Server Profile — Heartbeat screen, type the appropriate information, and then select Next.
  9. In the fourth Edit SIP Server Profile — Registration screen, type the appropriate information, and then select Next.
  10. In the Edit SIP Server Profile — Advanced screen, type the appropriate information, and then select Finish.

    The system saves the configuration, and the updated Server Configuration screen is refreshed showing the newly-added profile.

  11. Select the profile name and then click the Advanced tab button.
  12. In the SIP Servers Advanced Tab screen, select the Edit button.
  13. In the Edit SIP Servers Profile Advanced screen, select the name of the SigMa script that you want to specify from the drop-down list in the Signaling Manipulation Script field.
  14. Click Finish.
