Call queue groups

Call queue groups enable you to distribute incoming calls to a phone number or an extension among a group of users to manage the call traffic. For example, you can create a call queue for your customer support department so that multiple queue members can answer the customer calls directed to the customer support. You can distribute incoming calls among members rotationally, simultaneously, or sequentially.

For each call queue group you create, you can configure the following settings:

  • Call queue details

  • Direct numbers

  • Greeting and hold music

  • Call handling and members

  • Pickup settings and members

  • Voicemail and notifications
