Allocate a phone number to an unassigned phone and assign this phone to a user. Avaya Cloud Office Service Web moves the assigned phones to the User Phones subtab.
Procedure
From the Admin Portal homepage, click Phone System > Phones & Devices > Unassigned.
Click the phone to assign.
Avaya Cloud Office Service Web displays the settings page for the selected phone.
Click Set Up and Assign.
Avaya Cloud Office Service Web displays the Assign unassigned phone window.
On the Select Location tab, select a location and click Next.
On the Select User tab, select a user and click Next.
On the Configure Phone tab, verify the phone, user, and license details and click Next.
On the Select Numbers tab, do one of the following:
To select an unassigned phone number from the inventory, on the Number Inventory subtab, from the Phone Number list, select a phone number.
To acquire a new phone number, on the New Number subtab, select a location and an area code for the number, select the check box next to the phone name, and click Assign to Selected.
Click Next.
On the Add Emergency Response Location tab, from the Select Emergency Address list, select the emergency location.
Click Next.
Avaya Cloud Office Service Web assigns the phone to the selected user and moves the phone entry to the User Phones subtab.
