You can manage the phone numbers in the Avaya Cloud Office™ phone system. The types of phone numbers that Avaya Cloud Office™ supports are as follows:

• Local numbers: Phone numbers that are associated with specific areas or cities.

• Toll-free numbers: Free to call phone numbers that start with a specific 3-digit code.

• Vanity numbers: Customized phone numbers that spell out words or acronyms in the alphanumeric dialpads. For example, +1-(866)-GO-AVAYA.

You can add new phone numbers to your number inventory, assign them to users or phones, or use them as direct phone numbers for the following:

• Call queues

• Paging only groups

• Shared and delegated lines

• Message-only, announcement-only, and limited extensions

You can view a list of the phone numbers in the phone system from the All Numbers subtab. The Numbers in Use subtab displays the assigned phone numbers. You can use the Search bar to find phone numbers. For example, you can type the name of a user to see the phone numbers assigned to this user.

You can also port phone numbers from other providers to Avaya Cloud Office™ or view your pending phone number requests.
