Configuring limited extension details

About this task

After creating a limited extension, you can configure its regional settings, confirmation message and apply a template.

You can only select the previously created templates for limited extensions.

Procedure

  1. On the Admin Portal home page, click Phone System > Groups > Limited Extensions.
  2. Click the limited extension to configure.
  3. To change the extension details, on the extension tab, click to expand Limited Extension Details.
  4. On the General tab, configure the extension details.
  5. To change the extension settings, click Settings.
  6. To configure your default regional settings, in the Regional Settings field, click Edit.

    You can adjust the time zone, home country code, greetings language, time format, user language, and regional format.

  7. To change the timeout for the confirmation message, in the Confirmation Message field, click Edit.

    The timeout is for the confirmation message you can see after making configuration changes.

  8. To select a template, click Apply.
