Creating a Call Park Location

About this task

You can create a park location group with a name, extension number, required presence key, and members to park and retrieve calls. You can add up to 100 park location groups.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Admin Portal.
  2. Click Phone System > Groups > Park Locations.
  3. In the Park Locations tab, click New Park Location.
  4. In the Add Park Location window, enter the name for the group and extension number.
  5. From the Site list, select the required site.

    You can also search for the required site.

  6. Click Save.

    A confirmation window is displayed.

  7. In the confirmation window, click Yes to add users who can park phone calls on this extension. Otherwise, click No, I will do it later.
  8. If you select Yes, the Add Members window is displayed. Select the names of the users you want to add, then click Add.
    Note:

    All members must be added to the park location if they belong to a ring group.

    The Park Location Phone Key window is displayed.

  9. If you select No in the confirmation window, you can add users to the park location group later.
  10. In the Park Location Phone Key window, click Yes to automatically add the park location key to member phones.
  11. Click No if you want to add the key manually.
