Adding unassigned extensions without phones

About this task

Add new unassigned extensions without phones to your company account. Even though these extensions do not have phones associated with them, you can still assign phone numbers to them.

You can add multiple unassigned extensions simultaneously.

Procedure

  1. From the Admin Portal homepage, click Users > User List > Unassigned Extensions.
  2. At the top-right corner of the list, click the Add Unassigned Ext. button.

    Avaya Cloud Office Service Web displays the Add Unassigned Ext window.

  3. Select a location for the extension or extensions and click Next.
  4. Click the Add Users without Devices tab.
  5. In the Qty field, type the quantity.
  6. Optional To add extensions with phone numbers, from the With Numbers list, select Yes and do the following:
    1. Optional If you have multiple cost centers, select one from the Cost Center list.
    2. From the State/Province list, select a location.
    3. From the Area Code list, select an area code.
    4. From the Number Option list, choose to acquire a new phone number or use one from your number inventory.
    5. Optional If you have multiple sites, select one from the Site list.
  7. Optional To add extensions without phone numbers, from the With Numbers list, select No and do the following:
    1. Optional If you have multiple cost centers, select one from the Cost Center list.
    2. Optional If you have multiple sites, select one from the Site list.
  8. To create the purchase order, click Add.
  9. Optional To add more items to your basket, repeat the steps 5 to 8.
  10. Click Next.
