Setting up a Call Pickup group

About this task

Group call pickup enables group members to answer each other’s calls from their own phones.

When a group pickup member receives a call that rings for longer than the set alert time, other group members receive a call notification. The notification shows the incoming caller ID and the group member receiving it. Members can answer the call by pressing the pickup key on their phone.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal..
  2. Click Phone System > Groups > Call Pickup..
  3. Under the Group Pickup tab, click New Group Call Pickup.
  4. In the Add Group Call Pickup window, enter the name for the group.
  5. From the Site list, select the required site.

    You can also search for the required site.

  6. From the Alert Timer list, select a duration. The group members are notified after this duration.
  7. Click Next.

    The Select Members tab is displayed.

  8. Select the members to be added in this call pickup group.

    You can also search for the members in all the available sites.

  9. Click Save.
