This procedure outlines the steps to add and configure the users to monitor the calls. Only the users with extensions are to be added to the presence list.
Procedure
Log in to Admin Portal.
Select Users > User list > Users with Extensions.
Select the users to add to the monitored users to their presence list, and open the user dialog.
Click the Phones & Numbers tab, and click Presence.
The Presence dialog box is displayed.
In the Appearance tab, do the following:
Enable phone selection for monitored users when an incoming call is detected.
Enable users to pick up a held call from a monitored extension.
Select the key number to add a monitored user by clicking the three dots under the Action tab.
Select Assign Extension.
In the Assign Extension dialog box, search for the user to be assigned.
Select the box next to the name of the user to be added, click Assign, and then click Save.
Click Yes to confirm the reboot attention screen.
Result
The deskphone is rebooted to reflect the changes made and to complete the configuration for the call monitoring process.
