Disabling a user

About this task

Disable a user to temporarily limit their access to Avaya Cloud Office™, for example, when the user takes a vacation. A disabled user cannot make and receive calls, access their account online, or use mobile applications.

Note:

You can disable multiple users simultaneously.

Procedure

  1. From the Admin Portal homepage, navigate to Users > User List > Users with Extensions.
  2. Next to the user to disable, select the check box.

    You can now click the quick access buttons.

  3. Click the Disable quick access button.
  4. On the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

    The user's status indicator changes to the disabled user icon.

  5. Optional To reenable a user, perform the following steps:
    1. Next to the user to enable, select the check box.

      You can now click the quick access buttons.

    2. Click the Enable quick access button.

      The user's status indicator changes to the enabled user icon.
