Deleting an announcement-only extension

About this task

Delete announcement-only extensions to deactivate them.

Procedure

  1. On the Admin Portal homepage, click Phone System > Groups > Announcement-Only Extensions.
  2. Select the announcement-only extension.
  3. Under the Actions section, click the More icon.
  4. Before deleting, disable the activated extension.

    After you disable the activated extension, the Actions section displays the options to Enable and Delete.

  5. Click Delete.
  6. In the dialog box, click Confirm.
