Configuring the company caller ID name

About this task

Assign a caller ID name so that the person receiving your call can see your company name on the screen of their device. Updates to your caller ID name can take up to 72 hours.

Important:

The person receiving your call can see your company name only if they have an active caller ID service from their provider.

Procedure

  1. From the Admin Portal homepage, click Phone System > Company Info.

    If you enable the Multi-site feature of your company account, you will see a list of your sites in the middle pane. Otherwise, Avaya Cloud Office Service Web displays the Company Address tab.

  2. If you have multiple sites, on the middle pane, select the site to configure.
  3. Click the Caller ID Name tab.
  4. Select Use a custom caller ID name and enter your custom caller ID name.

    Your caller ID name can consist of a combination of up to 15 alphanumeric characters and commas.

  5. Click Save and Publish.
