Before you begin
Ensure you do the following before adding an SMS application to Experience Portal:
Configure a tool such as SMPPSim to send SMS messages.
Add an SMS processor. For more information on adding an SMS processor, see Adding an SMS processor.
Add an SMPP Connection and ensure it is in the Running state on the System Monitor page. For more information on adding an SMPP connection, see Adding an SMPP connection.
Procedure
Log on to the EPM web interface with the Administration user role account.
From the EPM menu, click System Configuration > Applications.
On the Applications page, click Add.
On the Add Application page, specify the fields as required and click Save.

Use the configured SMS tool to send an SMS for testing and check the SMS message count increment on the System Monitor page.
