Problem description

{0} - The name of the license that could not be acquired.

{1} - The maximum instances of this license that has been allocated to this MPP server.

The Session Manager component attempted to acquire the license that was specified in the event but was unable because the maximum allocated licenses of this type are already in use.

Common causes

There are not enough licenses provisioned for the services or features that require this license.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. Review the concurrent usage of the feature that the license is related to.
  2. Increase the instances of this license that are allocated to this MPP to align with the required usage.

    If the license is related to Speech Recognition ports, use the MPP Service Menu to monitor port usage in real time.

  3. Check the log files in the following location for information on license usage:

    $AVAYA_MPP_HOME/logs/process/SessMgr
