Column

Description

Zone

The name of the zone where the EPM server is configured. Select the name of the zone from the drop-down box.
Note:

The Zone drop-down box appears only when you create new zones. If you do not create any new zones, you do not see the drop-down box.

Name

The name of the server running the Experience Portal Manager (EPM) software.

Type

The options are:

  • Primary: This is the primary EPM server for this system.

  • Auxiliary: This is the backup EPM server for this system.

The Type field cannot be changed.

Host Address

The hostname or IP address of the EPM server.

Note:

This field can only be changed for the auxiliary EPM server.

Listed Directory Number (LDN)

This field is only shown when you are logged into the EPM using:

  • The Avaya Services init account created when the Avaya Service accounts were configured.

In this case, you can enter a value in this field.

  • Any other EPM user account and an Avaya Services representative has previously set the LDN value.

In this case, the field is read only.

If you are logged into the EPM using the init account, enter the LDN number for this server as it appears in the Avaya Services database. If an LDN number is not specified for this server, Experience Portal uses the default value (000)000-0000.

Note:

The Listed Directory Number (LDN) field is available in EPM only if the Type is Auxiliary.

EPM Certificate section

Field

Description

Certificate display box

The SSL certificate on the auxiliary EPM server.

The displayed certificate must match exactly the certificate that was established when the auxiliary EPM was first installed.

Trust new certificate

If this EPM server has just been installed or upgraded, this check box is displayed in this section. If you see this check box, make sure the certificate is valid and then select the check box.

You cannot add the auxiliary EPM server until the certificate is accepted.

If a chained certificate is imported during this EPM server installation, the final signed certificate (also called the end certificate) of the chained certificate is displayed.
