The Media Server System Manager encountered a problem when deleting an old certificate from the Media Server. Although having old certificates on the Media Server should not impact the operation of the Media Server, old certificates might pose a security risk.

To remove an old certificate:

Procedure

  1. From the EPM, stop the Media Server.
  2. On the Media Server, stop the Media Server and httpd services by using the /sbin/service Media Server stop and /sbin/service httpd stop commands.
  3. Remove the certificate file that was specified in the error message.
  4. Start the Media Server and httpd services by using the /sbin/service Media Server start and /sbin/service httpd start commands.
  5. From the EPM, start the Media Server.
