Problem description

The system could not successfully stop the Media Server processes. Before the Media Server can be successfully started, the system must be rebooted.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. Use the stat.php command to observe the processes that could not be stopped.
  2. Collect all the Media Server logs.
  3. Reboot the Media Server.
  4. If Auto Restart is not configured for the Media Server, start the Media Server from the EPM.
  5. Verify that the Media Server is properly answering calls.
  6. Send the collected logs to Avaya Technical Support for analysis.
