Trigger component

Avaya Experience Portal Administration

Problem description

{0} - Provides information about the purge.

{1} - The configured Days value.

The Media Server maintenance utility received an invalid value for the retention period parameters.

The Media Server maintenance utility uses the following parameters to determine the retention period for records and transcriptions:

  • rec.calldatarecordretentionperiod

  • rec.sesdatarecordretentionperiod

  • rec.transcriptionsretentionperiod

The values of these parameters must be in integers between 0 and 365. Otherwise, the Media Server utility receives an error.

Note:

This is not a fatal event. This event does not affect the running state of the Media Server.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. Manually delete the records and transcriptions.
  2. Check the values entered in the Retention Period (days) for the Call Details Records, Session Detail Records, and Transcriptions:
    1. On the EPM interface, click Global Settings > Record Handling.
    1. Ensure that the values for Retention Period (days) entered for Session Data, Call Data Record, and transcriptions are in integers between 0 and 365.
    2. If the values entered are not valid integers, change the values to integers between 0 and 365.
    3. If the parameter value on the Media Server does not match the parameter value on the EPM, change the parameter value on the EPM.
  3. If the parameter value on the Media Server matches the value on the EPM, and you still receive this warning event, contact Avaya Technical Support.
