Use this page to view the summary information about the Media Processing Platform (MPP) system status.

MPP Status table

Column

Description

Run state

The operational state of the MPP at the time this page was last accessed or refreshed. For more information about MPP run (operational) states, see MPP operational states.

Configuration state

The state of the configuration on the MPP at the time this page was last accessed or refreshed. It can be No configuration, Configuration OK, MPP Restart needed, MPP Reboot needed, or Telephony configuration needed.

Time of last heartbeat

The day and time that the last "heartbeat" request was received from the EPM and acknowledged.

Time of last session information update

The last time the MPP Session Manager provided session information to the MPP System Manager.

Process Status table

This table presents information about the three primary processes on the MPP.

Column

Description

Name

The names of the primary, or key, processes that the MPP requires to run properly. These processes include:

  • CCXML - This process is a CCXML interpreter that can run multiple document sessions. This process controls all the call handling behavior for each application that runs on the MPP by handling each request to obtain or release a speech resource for the application by handling each request to start, end, and transfer calls.

  • EventMgr - This process collects events from other MPP processes and sends them to the network log web service on the EPM.

  • VXMLMGR - This process runs multiple VoiceXML dialog sessions. This process interfaces with the Session Manager to direct application resources as required by the application.

  • SessionManager - This process is the integration point and controlling process for all application, telephony, and speech resources.

Path

The path to the process.

Restart count

The number of times the MPP System Manager will attempt to restart the process within a 10 minute period.

State

The state of the process at the time the home page was accessed or last refreshed.

Type

This can be:

  • system: The process is managed by some other process than the MPP System Manager.

  • managed: The process is started by the MPP System Manager when the MPP System Manager starts. The MPP System Manager also performs such tasks as alerting the process if a parameter changes.

  • (blank): The process is not managed.

Activity table

This table provides a snapshot summary of what activity was taking place on the MPP at the time this page was accessed or refreshed.

The percentage of available channels, or ports, that were in use

Active ASR ports

The number of ASR ports that are currently in use.

Active TTS ports

The number of TTS ports that are currently in use.

Calls today

The number of calls that the MPP has handled today.

The total number of channels on the server.

Channels in service

The number of channels that are currently in use.

Licensed channels

The number of channels that are licensed for use.

Licensed ASR ports

The number of ports dedicated to ASR resources.

Licensed TTS ports

The number of ports dedicated to TTS resources.

The percentage of CPU capacity that was in use.

The percentage of memory capacity that was in use.

Disk

The percentage of disk space capacity that was in use.
