Trigger component

Media Server telephony provider that runs as part of the SessionManager process

Problem description

{0} - The percentage of the allocated ports that are out of service at the time of the event.

{1} - The percentage that was configured for the Fatal Trigger on the EPM.

The Media Server reports this error event when the percentage of the SIP and H.323 channels that failed exceeded the percentage that was configured for the Fatal Trigger on the EPM.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. From the EPM, review the log reports for errors that were reported by the Media Server.
  2. From the EPM, go to Port Distribution for additional errors.
  3. Review log files in the directory $AVAYA_MPP_HOME/logs/process/SessMgr/SessionManager.log* files for additional messages.
  4. On the EPM, set the trace level for Telephony to Finer.
  5. Restart the Media Server.
  6. Review log files after the ports go out of service.
