Problem description

{0} - The process that stopped unexpectedly.

{1} - The maximum number of restart attempts.

The Media Server System Manager could not restart the Media Server process because the process was terminated unexpectedly and the maximum number of restart attempts has been exceeded. This is an internal error.

Proposed Solution

Procedure

  1. On the EPM, review log reports for additional errors that might have been reported by the process named in the event message.
  2. On the Media Server, review logs for the process named in the event message for additional event or trace messages in the directory $AVAYA_MPP_HOME/logs/process.
  3. On the Media Server, review core files from the process named in the event message in the directory /tmp/core.
  4. Contact Avaya Technical Support if you cannot correct the problem after reviewing the log and core files.

    Before contacting Avaya Technical Support, collect all of the logs and core files.
