View Email Connections tab on Email page field descriptions

Use this page to view the configuration of an Email connection.

Note:

The Add and Delete buttons, and the Selection check box are not available on this page.

Field or Button

Description

Zone

The name of the zone.

Zones filter icon
To filter zones, click this icon located at the right side of the page. The system opens the Zone filter window for selecting one or more zones.
Note:

The Zones filter icon only appears when you create new zones. If you do not create any new zones, you do not see the icon.

Organization

The organizations that belong to the email connection.

Name

The name of the Email connection.

Default

The default Email server.

Warning:

Alarm notifications and scheduled reports are not sent if the default Email server is not configured.

Enable

The options are:

  • Yes

  • No

Outgoing Mail

This field includes:

  • Server: The address of the Email server.

  • Port: The number of the port used for outgoing mail.

Incoming Mail

This field includes:

  • Server: The address of the Email server.

  • Protocol: The protocol over which an Email server connects with an Email processor for receiving messages. The options are:

    • POP3

    • IMAP

  • Port: The number of the port used for incoming mail.
