Administering Listen Only Talk Path on Auto Answered Intercom Calls

About this task

With Communication Manager Release 10.1.2, you can configure the listen-only mode for the receiver when an intercom call is received. The intercom call receiver can listen to the other party but cannot speak with the other party.

Before you begin

  • J1xx phone must be running on J100 SIP Release 4.0.14.0 or later.

  • The registered station must have Auto Answer set to ICOM.

  • The caller must use the intercom buttons to initiate an intercom call.

  • The caller and receiver stations must configure the intercom group and intercom buttons.

  • Caller and receiver must have an auto-icom buttons mapped to each other.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Communication Manager System Administration Terminal (SAT) interface.
  2. In the command prompt, type change cor <station_COR>.
  3. On the CLASS OF RESTRICTION page, go to page 3.
  4. In the Listen Only Talk Path on Auto Answered Intercom Calls field, type y.
  5. Press Enter to save your changes.
