Use this checklist if you are administering Communication Manager for a Kafka integration.

Note:

The Kafka integration feature is reserved for future use.

Assign the list of nodes to a station using a Class of Restriction (COR).

Configure AE Services for Kafka integration.

Add and configure a switch connection.

Configure Call Management System (CMS) for Kafka integration.

  • Add a new processor channel with application type as mis-clus.

  • Set the CMS application release to R.21+.

  • Obtain the CMS hostname and Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) number.

  • Set the IP address for CMS to a dummy value. The node name should match the CMS hostname.
