Changing a station

About this task

You can make changes to a new telephone, such as assigning a coverage path or adding feature buttons.

Procedure

  1. Enter change station nnnn, where nnnn is the extension of a new telephone.
  2. Make changes to the necessary fields, and press Enter.
    Note:

    Using Communication Manager, you cannot edit the following fields for AvyaSIP and AvyaSIPCC set types:

    • Type

    • Actual

    • Number of Button Modules

    • Button Assignments

    • Feature Button Assignments

    • Button Module

    You can edit the above fields using System Manager. For more information about managing user profile, see Administering Avaya Aura System Manager.
