Notifying user about a Malicious Call using Crisis Alert

About this task

From Release 10.1.0.2 onwards, all SIP users with a Crisis Alert button can be notified for emergency or malicious calls, but not both. To enable malicious call notifications on the crisis alert button, enable the Notification using Crisis Alert field on the Feature-Related System Parameter screen on page 5.

Before you begin

  • Empty the mct-group-extensions table on the change mct-group-extensions page.

  • Disable the Every User Responds and Alert Pager fields on the change system-parameters crisis-alert page.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Communication Manager System Administration Terminal (SAT) interface.
  2. At the command prompt, type change system-parameters features and navigate to page 5.
