Ensuring Directed Call Pickup availability

About this task

Before you can assign Directed Call Pickup to a user, you must ensure that Directed Call Pickup is available on your system.

Procedure

  1. Type change system-parameters features.
  2. Press Enter.

    The system displays the Feature-Related System Parameters screen.

  3. Click Next until you see the Directed Call Pickup? field
  4. Perform one of the following actions:
    1. If the Directed Call Pickup? field is set to y, your system is set up for Directed Call Pickup. Click Cancel.
    2. If the Directed Call Pickup? field is set to n:
      • Type y in the field.

      • Click Enter to save your changes.
