Communication Manager enables the station user to enter 13-character labels for all feature buttons and call appearances associated with this station.
Procedure
Log on to the Communication Manager System Access Terminal (SAT).
In the command prompt, type add station next or change station n. Where, n is the station extension used to customize feature button labels.
Ensure that Customizable Labels is set to y.
Press Enter to save your changes.
Assign specific feature buttons as described in the Adding Feature Buttons section.
Note:
You can also use the existing Abbreviated Dialing (AD) button type (Abr Program) to program AD labels. However, if you use the Abr Program button to program AD labels, Communication Manager limits you to enter 5 upper case characters.
