Perform the steps of this procedure from a Communication Manager system access terminal (SAT) to configure a list of nodes for a static homing policy for users. This configuration is necessary for a Kafka integration.
Note:
The Kafka integration feature is reserved for future use.
Procedure
Log in to the Communication Manager SAT interface.
In the command prompt, type change cluster preferred-CM-list n, where n is a numeric identifier for the list.
Communication Manager displays the Cluster Preferred CM-List page.
Complete the Cluster Preferred CM-List form as follows:
In the Pref-CM-List Name field, type an optional name for this list of nodes.
In the 1-5 fields, type the name of a specific node, exactly as it is named in System Manager web console.
Optional Type list cluster preferred-CM-list to view the lists at any time.
