Local Survivable Processor for Edge topology
The Edge topology connects a Local Survivable Processor (LSP) in a cloud-connected branch office or in separated subnetworks behind NAT devices with the main Communication Manager server. In Edge mode, the LSP connects to the main Communication Manager server using a single WebSocket HTTPS connection that tunnels all communication between the two servers. If the branch office in the network gets isolated, the LSP takes over the functionality and acts as Local Survivable Server.
