Avaya Aura® applications support Enhanced Access Security Gateway (EASG). EASG is a PKI-based challenge-response authentication and authorization solution. Avaya uses EASG to securely access customer systems and provide support and to troubleshoot.

EASG provides a secure method for Avaya services personnel to access the Avaya Aura® remotely and onsite. Access is under the control of the customer and can be enabled or disable at any time. EASG must be enabled for Avaya Services to perform tasks necessary for the ongoing support, management and optimization of the solution. EASG is also required to enable remote proactive support tools such as Avaya Expert Systems® and Avaya Health check.
