To add a Server/Application certificate to the certificate repository, upload the pem format file to /var/home/ftp/pub directory.
Procedure
On the SMI page, navigate to Administration > Server (Maintenance).
In the Security section, click Server/Application Certificates.
Click Add button to add a certificate. The Communication Manager SMI displays the Server/Application Certificates - Add page.
Enter the filename of the certificate that you want to add.
The certificates must be in pem or PKCS#12 format. These certificates must be placed in the /var/home/ftp/pub directory.
Enter the password of the certificate to add.
Click Open to validate the certificate.
After successful verification, the Server/Application Certificates - Add page shows the issued-to, issued-by, and expiration date information for each added certificates in the chain. If the file does not contain a valid certificate, the system displays an error message instead of the certificate content.
For more information on validation of cerificates, refer Avaya Aura® Communication Manager SMI Administration.
Select the Edge Friendly repository check boxe.
Note:
The system does not prompt you to enter a file name to store the certificate. By default, the file name is server.crt.
A certificate is also required in the Communication Manager repository to setup the tunneled TLS connections to the main Communication Manager server, this could be the same certificate used for the Edge Friendly or a different certificate.
Click Add button.
Note:
If you fail to install a certificate in one repository, it does not affect the installation in other repositories.
