Configuring Web Chat settings

About this task

Use this procedure to configure the web chat settings for an agent.

Procedure

  1. Start Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Web Chat/Messaging > Config.
  3. In the Web Chat Agent Timers section, enter appropriate values for each field. For information on each field, see Web Chat Settings field descriptions.
  4. In the Chat Conversation section, enter appropriate values for each field. For more information about each field, see Web Chat Settings field descriptions.
  5. In the Web Chat Security/Transcripts access section, in External Web Server Domain, enter an appropriate value. For more information about the field, see Web Chat Settings field descriptions.
  6. In the Messaging chat parameters section, enter appropriate values. For more information about each field, see Web Chat Settings field descriptions.
  7. In the Messaging chat file transfer parameters section, enter appropriate values. For more information about each field, see Web Chat Settings field descriptions.
  8. Click Save.
